"The painting was removed from an exhibition in Frankfort, KY. Deemed to be "obscene". The exhibit was in the hallway connecting the capitol to the legislators' offices. It was rehung after legislative debate determined that a contractual agreement would not allow its removal. To have offended the Kentucky legislature's pristine sensibilities is still an honor I will always cherish." -Victor Troutman
